Since the end of November until the beginning of the month of December 2011, Simon Parent made an exploratory trip to Europe in order to visit different nurseries and farms, visit growers, nurserymen and advisors, and to participate to conferences and seminars in France and in the north of Italy.
He visited the most important strawberry nurseries of France and went to Prigonrieux, located east of Bordeaux, in the Aquitaine region, to participate in the CITFL where the annual general assembly of the AOPN, as well as numerous technical conferences, took place. He then left to Montpellier, capital of the Languedoc-Roussillon, southeast of France, in order to not miss the SITEVI, the most important fruit, vegetable and vine fair of France and this way, be informed about the latest innovations, products and services offered in the industry.

He then crossed the border towards Italy, where he visited the most important strawberry nurseries of that country, located in the region of Emilia-Romagna, in the north of Italy, and strengthened his business relations with them. It was a trip filled with nice encounters and with learning, which he will gladly share with his partners.
