Types of plants available for this variety

Trayplant (TP) is mainly intended for soilless cultivation in greenhouses and tunnels. It’s a strawberry plant raised in a 250 ml cell that has been kept in a nursery during the flower initiation period in autumn, then kept in cold storage until planting. This type of plant is conditioned to give a large crop of excellent-quality strawberries around 10 to 12 weeks after planting, depending on the growing schedule, and plantings can be programmed to stagger harvests. Trayplant is available from December to July for orders received before March 15th.

The mini-trayplant (MTP) is mainly intended for greenhouse and tunnel planting with neutral-day varieties. This strawberry plant, raised in a 140-ml cell, can be planted in vegetative growth with foliage (fresh plant) between September and November, or dormant between December and July. This type of plant is conditioned for very regular production over a long period, as in winter cultivation in greenhouses or soilless cultivation in tunnels. The mini-trayplant is available from September to November (fresh) and from December to July (dormant) for orders received before March 15.

The dormant bare-root plant (frigo plant) is mainly intended for open-field planting in plasticulture or matted rows, for both short-day and neutral-day varieties. It is a strawberry plant grown in the open ground and harvested dormant at the start of winter, to be kept in cold storage until spring planting. Bare-root plants are available from April to July for orders received before December 15.
